These are all the photos I took on a 14 km climb to the high pass at El Palo, "El Techo del Camino." I saw no bears, wolves, or "urogallos" (capercaillies, says my dictionary), which I wouldn't have recogized anyway. But I did see and photograph the wild pony troop that lives on the heights. And you may catch a glimpse of an old geezer who was crazy enough to take on this trek.
